This place is unbelievable ... a little difficult to find (the entrance blends into the scenery off Rt 1A), but once you do, it's hard to believe that you're just a few minutes from downtown Bangor. It feels like you've stepped into a secret place, high up on a river bluff with lots of trees and trails, water, and pretty views everywhere. There's a big mansion in the pines and a village below filled with cottages. I thought the cottages all looked alike, but once I saw a few, they are all unique and there's lots of room. I don't know why they refer to them as cottages because they are certainly as big and roomy as any house I've ever owned.
