My mother was in this hospital for three days wrong diet diabetic was not on a diabetic diet, not cleaned in private area but new diaper put on bed wet bed pad. Ordered chopped food given regular then was fixed after she didn't eat for two days dr ordered diabetic boost she was given regular boost when I asked the nurse I was told it was diabetic till I asked the. Lady who delivered the try's from the kitchen and she said it was not went to a mr j hull told him all that went on at 2:30 pm at 3 new shift came on no vital ex taken or insulin or melds given till I asked where the nurse was at 5:40 will never come to this hospital again this gets no stars the state will be called

I'm not an employee of HGH, but I spend a great deal of time there with the agency I work out of. The ER is such a joke. I have seen serious cases sitting in the waiting room for HOURS, most of which must leave to find care elsewhere. The staff is so unprofessional. I was waiting at the ER desk to ask if I could go sit with a patient, the woman at the desk had me waiting while she was on the company phone having a conversation with an ER RN about her weekend..which included drinking and sexual escapades! When I finally got to go into the ER to sit with my patient I waited 4 hours and not one nurse or doctor ever came in to check on her! Finally I went and asked for an update, and of course I got blown off, had to wait another half hour before asking someone else. I deal with nothing but terrible attitudes here and terrible healthcare. I had a patient admitted here that was found unresponsive by a visitor of our own agency..god only knows how long she was there..considering she became brain dead and died within the next week. I could go on forever. Like witnessing a surgeon pick up a personal cell phone call about what he wanted for dinner that night...while he's in the middle of a hernia surgery! Disgusting! I need to stop here.
