First, he requires a small deposit.... Which is a great idea.
Second, I have NEVER had a deer processed this beautifully before. We chose to grind everything and save the loins. Michael suggesting grinding with pork fat or beef fat. We DO NOT eat pork of any kind so we chose beef fat. UNBELIEVABLE. My meatloaf is unbelievable. Best I've ever made including using beef!
And the tenderloins? They were giftwrapped in double butcher paper. I unwrapped two tonight to put into marinade for dinner tomorrow. I expected to have to trim the silver skin off.... Ha! Only one tiny little speck of it on one of the loins. I can't wait until dinner!
The final cost was extremely reasonable especially considering he took the whole deer, intact. If he uses the parts I didn't, I honestly don't care because the job was so well done and at such a fair price, he can make an extra buck on my behalf, no problem! Please use his service and see if you don't agree with me!
