This is the worse company to rent from. When I first moved it they didn't tell me I had to pay for other people's damage. I worked graveyard and right after work I would go clean the apartment for almost 2 weeks just to have everything clean so I can get my deposit back, a month later I got a letter from them saying I owe them $1,558.56. I was so mad. After almost no sleep for 2 weeks on cleaning I have to pay like I left the apartment really dirty. This company is a rip off. I'm NEVER GOING TO RENT FROM THEN EVER AGAIN

My husband was involved in an MVA last year and Preferred property was the only rental company that would rent to us. We were required to pay a 1200 dollar deposit. I took pictures upon move in of the apartment. There was a hole in the front door frame, in the wall in the living room as well as burns in the carpet. We moved out of our apartment 30 days ago and I got a bill in the mail today stating that I owe them money for repairs. Upon move out I took pictures of the condition if the apartment. The gal that inspected took pictures and claimed that it was so they could post it up for rent (says it was pretty clean to me) ... Other than the same holes in the walls, the stove needing to be cleaned and new drip pans for the stove, that house was given back in as good of condition as to what I received. The lady that did out inspection said that we would probably get some of our deposit back. I told her I would believe it when I see it and they would get a good public review from me if I did... I will admit that I did owe for my last months rent and they had every right to take that out of my deposit and I agreed to them cleaning the carpets... They billed me for 5 hours of cleaning at 166.25, Repair labor at 105.00, supplies at 100.00, patching holes (which were already there) 100.00, carpet cleaning (which they do themselves) 120.00 and Rent of 632.00... this all totaled 1223.25.... I really wish I could post pictures from before and after... All I have to say is that I am very disappointed in their lack of honesty and I don t indorse them as a company....
