Gianna received her bachelor's degree in health sciences from Gettysburg College. She then earned her master's degree at Columbia University and became a registered nurse. While working as an inpatient adult oncology nurse, she obtained her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at Columbia University and became a nurse practitioner. Her studies consisted of rigorous academic and clinical training in various pediatric and adult subspecialties to prepare her to care for patients across the lifespan.
