I like to spend time discussing the etiology, implications, and treatment options for each cardiovascular condition that affects the patient. With recent technologic advances in the field of cardiology, the diagnostic and therapeutic options have grown immensely. The risks and benefits of each prescribed treatment must be discussed before pursuing an individualized treatment plan. Once an individual is well informed and understands the disease process, the treatment plan will be much more effective.
