I made an appointment with Dr. Edward Kogan regarding back pain that I have been having. The worst part of this office is the staff. Every time you call you are put on hold, the staff never identifies themselves, and they are very rude.



They do not listen to your needs. Dr. Kogan examined me for my back pain and said he thinks it is a herniated disc in my back. He prescribed a muscle relaxer, a steroid anti-inflammatory. I called them and said the steroid did nothing for me and the muscle relaxer made me way too tired and I could not focus on work.



These did nothing for the pain in my back. I requested a pain killer such as vicodin. The lady calls me back and says they want to give me tramadol (Ultram which is a pain killer that also acts as an antidepressent) they said it would make me DROWSY & SLEEPY. I just told them that was the reason I didn't want the muscle relaxer they gave me. They clearly don't listen.



Each member of the staff that I spoke with would interrupt me on the phone and not listen to what I would have to say. She calls me back and says the on call doctor prescribed another medicine called Diclofenac and she wouldn't even EXPLAIN to me what it was! She also said they ordered an XRAY for my back. YOU DO NOT ORDER AN XRAY. An MRI is needed to see if there is in fact a Disc problem in your back.



I can go on and on and I've only visited this office once and only dealt with them for 1 week.. They do not listen to your needs and are very rude. I am not the type of person to complain and I am in sales so customer service is definitely something I understand. I would find someone else. I would expect a medical office to take care of you and be informative.



I am extremely dissapointed with this office.
