Located in Holyoke, Mass., Baystate Reference Laboratories is the Medicare- and Medicaid-certified clinical diagnostic laboratory service of the Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Mass. The laboratory provides pathology tests and management services to physicians and hospitals and other health care services throughout western New England. It offers a wide variety of pathology tests, including autopsy, endocrinology, therapeutic apheresis, molecular genetics, hematology, anatomic pathology, immunology, microbiology, genetics, urinalysis, and transfusion medicine. The laboratory has more than 500 staff members that offer 24-hour services.
