The Division of Recreation organizes a variety of recreational programs and services. It conducts summer sports clinics for children in a range of disciplines that includes swimming, tennis, golf, and track and field. The division also provides winter clinics for children in baseball, softball and basketball. Additionally, it provides various summer swimming lessons for children that include sessions in beginner, intermediate and advanced swimming and lifeguard training. The Division of Recreation provides horseback riding lessons for children of six through 16 years of age and also organizes classes in kayaking and first aid. Its office is located in Hudson, Mass.
