Founded in 2001, Huron Middle School serves students in grades six through eight. The school s staff includes a media specialist, psychologist, social worker, speech and language therapist and counselors. It conducts classes in art, vocal and instrumental music, industrial technology, living skills, foreign languages, career and education planning, and health and physical education. Located in Huron, S.D., the school is a part of the Huron School District. The district s schools staff includes teachers, curriculum consultants, vocational therapists, nurses, guidance counselors and psychologists. In addition, its schools offer cocurricular activities and after-school programs.
