Dr. Blackburn earned his undergraduate degree from the University of California, San Diego, and earned his DMD degree and MSD degree in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics from the Boston University of Dental Medicine. He conducted biomedical research at the Scripps Research Institute and the National Institutes of Health for several years. He has received numerous honors and awards for his academic and clinical achievements.Dr. Blackburn is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthodontics. He is an active member of the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics. His professional memberships include the American Association of Orthodontists, Midwestern Society of Orthodontists, the Greater Kansas City Dental Society, and the Eastern Jackson County Dental Society. Dr. Blackburn is an Invisalign Premier Provider and Damon Comfort System Provider.
