Approximately 300 contract carriers with more than 500 truckers make up Stringfellow Lumber s delivery system. The company provides lumber to customers throughout the Southeast and Midwest sections of the United States. Stringfellow distributes lumber, panels and engineered lumber products from direct manufacturers and its facilities in Birmingham, Ala., and Winder, Ga. Stringfellow also carries specialty items such as an air-bar house wrap known as an air infiltration barrier, fasten master screws, elk composite decking, azobe crossties, IPE Hardwood Decking, Penofin Sealer, Lumber Loc Fasteners and Greenheart Lumber. The company s yards are located to provide service to Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois and Michigan. E.
