Saturday March 24, 2018 Jose Tejas Woodbridge NJ
The Manager and waiter on staff this afternoon listened to my wife and I WITH a very Disrespecful Smerck on their face when we complained that the quality of the food since we have been coming to Jose Tejas in Woodbridge NJ since it opened was not the same. Sangria on the rocks watered down. My wife had to refuse the order of Blue cheese salad with steak which salad was all Spinach. My wife had ordered this plate many times before and it was a mixture of salads NOT ALL SPINACH
When I approached the manager again I had to tap his arm to get his attention because he was ignoring me and Manager said to me “ Don’t touch me “ !!! I just looked him in the eye and said “ We are never returning to Jose Tejas again after coming to your restaurant since the doors opened. Manager said. “ You’re doing me a favor “

One of the best restaurants in New Jersey

My wife and I go once a week to Jose Tejas.......I enjoy the food and laid back atmosphere. I feel that after a long week at the office, I can unwind here. I strongly recomend either the fajitas or the chimmichuri steak.

The Cucina for free Beer Maniana

From the time Jose's established itself in Iselin to today, our family loves to eat out just there!! It's amazing food, reasonably prices and ambience alongwith the excellent and courteous staff makes this the TexMex-Cajun place of one's dreams!

Somewhat crowded and a bit of a wait especially on weekends, but appetize at the bar and enjoy the wait!

Jose Tejas is the best. Service is ALWAYS excellent and the food is fantastic. I live an hour away and I have NO problem getting on that turnpike and driving because I KNOW that I will eat good and not be broke!! The wait time is a little annoying especially when you're standing around HUNGRY and smelling all that great food go by!!!! Jose Tejas is worth the drive and the wait.

The wait is horrible. The food is GREAT! It is so very worth it. We have waited for 2 hour to eat here. It's very cheap and you get huge portions. Call before you leave home to see what the wait is. If you plan on an early dinner, to be there by 4 it's not that bad of a wait or a late dinner at 7. When you wait they give you free chips and salsa. The chips are made freash, as is everything there. Go and be prepared to wait a long time, bring games for the kids. Once you eat the food though you will come again and again. If you don't like spicy food ask the cooks to make it without the spice and for plain rice, its still great.

Wow I never expected a restaurant to be this great and spicy at the same time. Their cajun chicken poppers are the best, and their buffalo wings are extremely spicy which made it great. The venue inside is great as well, christmas lights all around. Alot of beer lights. It makes it appear as a party atmosphere. The waiters are great at what they do as well, great prices also.

Hands down the most delicious, authentic Tex-Mex food in the East Coast!!!! Best frozen sangrias!

Taco Bell and Don Pablos are NOT the real thing! You want the real thing? You gotta go to Jose Tejas! My husband and I go at least once a month and it's about a 1.5 hour car ride from PA. Why do we drive so far to eat? Because we want the REAL THING! They have the best home-made chips and salsa. My absolute favorite drink is the Frozen Sangria. You gotta get the Chimichurri Steak.... yum! Atmosphere is awesome... great Mexican beers available... Dos Equis... Negra Modelo.... Very attentive servers. I suggest you call ahead as it is always crowded---that alone should tell you something.... Delicious food and very reasonably priced. I'm trying to find something bad to say too but I have nothing but positive comments about this place!
