Reaches Developmental Center & Services is an adult-sheltered workshop serving developmentally disabled adults. It provides weekday vocational and developmental education and training, and residential program. Its vocational training program consists of completing subcontracted work for local companies by the program participants. It offers developmental and educational training to emphasize on academic skills, fine and gross motor skills, social, self-help and independent living skills, safety and health issues and communication skills. It offers residential services through its six-bed group home and supported living homes. It is partially funded by The State of Tennessee, Department of Mental Retardation Services and is located in Jacksboro, Tenn.
