Dr. Kirk Jeffreys was born in Jackson, Mississippi and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree from Mississippi State University in 1991. In 1995 he received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson, Mississippi. Dr. Jeffreys also completed the Basic Sciences Course in Ophthalmology from Harvard University. Dr. Jeffreys’ professional training in Ophthalmology includes a completed Internal Medicine Internship and Ophthalmology Residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. From 1999 – 2002, Dr. Jeffreys was in private practice in Tupelo, Mississippi, and he became Board Certified through the American Board of Ophthalmology in 2002 with a special interest in cataract and refractive surgery.
