The owner of this store LIED to me about the warranty of a hard drive that i purchased at future computers.
He(and a employee) told me that the hard drive was a RETAIL version. When i got it home and hooked it up, I had to call Western Digital for setup help, where I found out that it was a OEM version and I had to pay for support.
I called the owner of future computers and told him I wanted a refund, he promptly denied this, saying that it was a special order item.
I will never buy anything from this shady dealer again.
Future Computer Systems, Inc. is a local PC service and sales center. As such, the products sold by our company may include OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) hardware. FCS, Inc. offer free installation of any hardware purchased from our store. However, to avoid our company from absorbing cost due to customer based troubleshooting or wrong item orders, all sales are final. FCS, Inc. offer a one (1) year local warranty on all parts and PCs sold. Special order items or non-stock items are non-refundable as these items cannot be returned to the original manufacturer. We apologize if our adherence to these regulations / guidelines has caused an inconvenience to any parties involved. Thank you kindly for your understanding.
