Jackson-Feild Homes is a non-profit organization located in Jarratt, Virginia dedicated to the treatment of emotionally disturbed children in a nurturing and compassionate environment. Children who have been victims of abuse and neglect in their young lives are placed here to receive treatment for psychiatric diagnoses, behavioral issues and for an opportunity to receive education while living on our rural 130 acre campus. Jackson-Feild is licensed by the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services, the Virginia Department of Social Services and the Virginia Department of Education. Jackson-Feild is one of the few organizations in Virginia accredited by the Council on Accreditation, a national accreditation organization which holds its members to the very highest standards in the industry. Our clinical staff includes a Board Certified Psychiatrist, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Professional Counselors, Physicians and Registered Nurses. Each child and their family is worked with individually by our licensed and professional staff to meet their specific needs. Efforts are made to help each child overcome serious issues in their life so they can return to their family and community with the skills and education to continue on their own for a productive and successful life.
