Provided by SuperpagesMy daughter really likes the staff and enjoys coming here. Watching your 4 year old get a couple cavities filled is not a lot of fun, but Dr Alonzo and staff made it as painless as possible.

Provided by SuperpagesMagnifique, excelente, awesome! We are very happy to have found Dr. Alonzo and her team. They all do a fantastic job with the kids, they are nice and friendly and very professional. Not only did we find a good dental care for our kids but we have the privilege to share the same nationalities and languages with Dr. Alonzo. Honduras and France, French and Spanish! Very proud to have found someone from my homeland!

Provided by Superpages5 star pediatric dentist office. Every single hygienist is fantastic with kids and Dr. Alonzo is worth an hour drive for! We have been using her for 6 years (three kids) and we drive an hour each way. Whether you just need a cleaning or a lot of corrective work for your kids this is a dentist that comes highly recommended.

Provided by SuperpagesDr. Alonzo is great with kids and sincerely cares about my children. I trust her judgment completely. Dr. Alonzo is excellent, and her office staff was obviously hand picked by her because each one is polite, professional, and communicate well with kids and adults. They worked with me on payment arrangements and are both helpful and respectful. I love the office, because my kids love the games and easy atmosphere totally focused on kids. My appointment times are respected too. I strongly recommend Dr. Alonzo!

- Nerve damage can result from severe decay and may require a crown (a crown is like a large filling that can cap a tooth, making it stronger or covering it). Avoiding unnecessary decay simply requires strict adherence to a dental hygiene regimen: brushing and flossing twice a day, regular dental checkups, diet control and fluoride treatment. Practicing good hygiene avoids unhealthy teeth and costly treatment. Sealants The grooves and depressions that form the chewing surfaces of the back teeth are extremely difficult (if not impossible) to clean of bacteria and food. As the bacteria reacts with the food, acids form and break down the tooth enamel, causing cavities. Recent studies indicate that 88 percent of total cavities in American school children are caused this way. Tooth sealants protect these susceptible areas by sealing the grooves and depressions, preventing bacteria and food particles from residing in these areas. Sealant material is a resin typically applied to the back teeth, molars and premolars and areas prone to cavities. It lasts for several years but needs to be checked during regular appointments. Fluoride Fluoride is a substance that helps teeth become stronger and resistant to decay. Regularly drinking water treated with fluoride and brushing and flossing regularly ensures significantly lower cavities.
