The Super 8 in Kalispell is truly a pleasant surprise! I frequent the Kalispell area from Arizona to visit family and I took a chance because I wanted a reasonably priced hotel. Needless to say I was stunned at the recently remodeled interior of this hotel. They have really nailed what guests are looking for. The price is beyond reasonable.
When you walk in to the lobby it is simple yet clean, well appointed and inviting with tables to sit at for the continental breakfast in the mornings. I have stayed here twice and my expectations were exceeded. Noticeably, it is a quiet hotel. I was by myself so my room had a king bed. The first impression on opening the door is cleanines of the carpet. The room is simplistic perfection! The bed is basically the most important part of a hotel stay and super 8 has raised the bar for a budget hotel for sure!!! Beautiful bed with a variety of 6 pillows, (yes SIX pillows!!; Heavenly!)
The room decor is simple yet classy. Above the bed a full wall photographic mural of the area which was stunning. During my last stay, my room had a gorgeous mural of Glacier National Park. This time the mural is of the glacier melting into streams. So soothing and artistic. The room is perfection with a flat screen TV, microwave, coffee maker and frig. This is what rooms should be! Super 8 has found the perfect balance: reasonable price, cleanliness, and simplistic class!!!! For once, a hotel has gotten it right!!
