Ramada hotels offer room service, bell service, restaurant, cocktail lounges (at most locations) and full-service meeting and banquet facilities. It is a branch of Ramada Worldwide, a subsidiary of Wyndham Worldwide Corporation, which owns and operates the Ramada brand of hotels that began in 1954 when a group of investors opened its first Inn in Flagstaff, Ariz. Since then, the Ramada chain has grown to more than 1,000 locations throughout the United States and Canada. Hotels include Ramada Limited, Ramada Plaza, Ramada Hotel & Resort, Ramada Encore and Ramada Hotel & Suites.
