Born and raised in Kansas, Samantha Alsop, MD, attended medical school and completed her general surgery residency at the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City, Kansas. She subsequently completed her vascular surgery fellowship at the University of Iowa in Iowa City. A board certified vascular surgeon, Dr Alsop specializes in treating a wide variety of vascular issues. Her clinical interests are aortic aneurysms, carotid disease, dialysis access, peripheral arterial disease, venous disease, visceral arterial disease, and wound care.
