Carson Tool & Mold, founded in 1945, is a precision tool manufacturer, specializing in the design, manufacture and servicing of molds for the plastics industry. The company is ISO 9001-certified, and produces thermoplastic injection, compression and thermoset molds. Its molds are used in appliance, electronic, automobile, textile, container and medical production facilities throughout the United States. The firm also offers project consultancy services from engineering and prototyping to construction of production molds. Its staff has expertise in Pro-Engineer, AutoCAD and MasterCam software. All its mold designs are completely detailed and include a bill of materials, as well as any written instructions that may be required for special mold functions. Carson Tool & Mold operates a 24,000-square-foot fully air-conditioned facility, and is headquartered in Kennesaw, Ga.
