I used to go there all the time, but had to stop. Good selection of items, but recently overpriced. The customer service is usually friendly here, but after witnessing store management speaking very disrespectfully to employees more than once, I don't wish to support Value Village. The air conditioning was broken for the entire summer and when employee relayed my comment to management about them needing to fix it, the manager cut him off and said there were other places they could work. This, after hearing an employee ask to wear sunglasses inside because the evening sun is blinding and hot and be told no by management. The company does not care about the people working there. As a nurse, I cannot support such an unhealthy and unprofessional business.

I've been to several of the Value Village shops. I've been to the one in Kent, Southcenter area and Des Moines. The one in Kent is my least favorite. It's always so hot in there...and the things seem old and icky. I much prefer the south center and then the Des Moines VV. I feel its worth the drive. They are pretty clean, but sometimes the they put the tags on top of the brand names which I hate and also they "bag" up things together which I also hate. I would prefer they mark things individually...my 2 Cents.
