I want to thank Grumpy's Steakhouse and Bar in Kingman KS for such a wonderful Valentines day. I had called in an order for a Ribeye Medium rare, and a grumpy burger. When I got there after a 20min drive, I asked to look at the steak (so many people don't know temps). I touched it and told the waitress(owner I think) that it was well done and she said I was wrong. I told her to cut into it and she did. She claimed that it was Medium and I said M'am, there is no pink color at all, it is well done. She asked what I wanted to do with it and I told her I'd buy the burger and didn't want the steak. So she Charged me for my order minus the steak ($21.45 and I gave her a $3 tip). She packed up the rest of my food and I headed 20mile home. I got home to find that she had packed the hard gray steak I didn't want and there was no burger. I called and Scott(owner I think) answered the phone and I started to tell him the dilema and he got short telling me that the steak was cooked perfect. Told me to come in and talk to him. I let him know that I was not from that town and he said my last name was on the ticket and HUNG UP on me. I tried to call back and they picked up there phone and HU immediately. Fuming at this point I drove back to Kingman to Grumpy's Steakhouse to return the jerky they called a steak. I sat there for over 10minutes trying to get service, let them know who I was and after 12min the original waitress finally came to address it. I told her I wanted a full refund and let her know that she packed up the well done Steak and I informed her that Scott was very rude and had HUNG UP on me. She said, " Next time maybe you should come in and eat instead of placing a to go order. I told her she could keep the $3 tip cause there wouldn't be a next time. Bad cooks and even worst customer service. Not even 1 star
