I DID NOT have a satisfactory experience with KAR. They late with the repair by almost one week, when I arrived I was hit with a rather vague $100 increase in the cost. This represents a 16% increase on that portion of the bill. Interestingly this matches the increase in the rental car expense incurred for the delay. Coincidence?
They attempted to repair for "free" a very small scrape on the rear bumper and totally botched it. I returned, asked if they could fix/improve this, and the answer I got was, "what do expect for free?" I told her I expected it to look at least as good as it did before they attempted their "free" fix. She said in effect...too bad so sad.
My total repair was nearly $3,000 and their/her approach to customer satisfaction was "get lost." I'm talking about something that would take them 15 minutes at most.
Look for any other repair shop in the Evergreen/Kittridge area...KAR seems to not be concerned with quality work or satisfied customers.
