The service was very slow. They gave me the opportunity to stare at my pretty wife for about 15 minutes while we waiting for the bill with no desert or beverages in front of us.



The selection is very unique. I feel that Kate's on State greatly misrepresents themselves as a cute little Italian eatery. They do not serve many traditional Italian dishes; no spaghetti, lasanga, chicken parmigana, etc. All of the entrees are doctored up with a variety of untraditional vegetables and seasonings.



They have a very small selection of specialty beer products (no Budweiser, Miller, etc)



I would not recommend this for someone with "simple" tastes or someone who is picky. I do not see myself returning.

Food was good but service was slow.

Nice selection of entrees.
