Dr. Valerie Martinsen Seifert grew up in LaPorte, Indiana. She graduated as a Valedictorian from LaPorte High School where she was involved in numerous organizations and sports teams. She went on to Valparaiso University where she played soccer for the Crusaders and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree. Dr. Seifert attended Indiana University School of Dentistry and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2007. While at IUSD, she was an active member of Delta Sigma Delta, an international dental fraternity, and a contributing author to its publication, Desmos.In the fall of 2007, she opened a private dental practice in LaPorte and has since served her patients with putting their needs first. Over the past 10+ years, Dr. Seifert has experienced tremendous growth and has created an extraordinary practice. With her recent nuptials and legally changed name, Dr. Seifert has decided to rebrand her practice as Maple City Dentistry beginning in 2018. The new name and brand reflect the practices commitment to continue to grow and better serve the oral health care needs of its patients.Dr. Seifert is a member of the American Dental Association, Indiana Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, Northwest Indiana Dental Society and the past President of the LaPorte County Dental Society. She currently serves as the Secretary on the board of the Northwest Indiana Dental Society, is also a fellow in the Pierre Fauchard Academy and a member of the Academy of General Dentistry. She participated in the Indiana Dental Associations AIR Leadership Program in 2014-2016.
