The absolute WORST property management company I've dealt with in my entire life. If you ever make the mistake of signing up with these guys, rest assured, they'll charge you a lot even after deciding you won't resign the lease. Why ? They'll say your apartment was dirty, the blinds were broken, the bathroom was dirty, the fridge was dirty, the slabs were dirty DESPITE the fact that you would've given them a CLEAN apartment back. They are the absolute WORST. DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT sign up with these guys. Why do I even have to give these slumlords a star ?

I meant to do this several weeks ago, but am just now finding the time to do so. I personally did not rent from Cole Property Management in Lafayette, but my daughter Sarah did. She found an apartment with this co in May, signed a lease and moved into a cute little 1 bedroom on 11th Street in downtown on July 1st. The 1st part of Aug my husband fell ill, and our family needed her to come home (we are in KS). After updating her of her fathers condition, and the need to come home for an undefined length of time she became concern about all her obligations in Lafayette, one being the year lease she had just started only a month prior. I told her to call Cole Property Management, ask for the manager and just tell them the situation and see if they would help her. She told me that she knew they would not let her out of her lease, but she would try. Long story, but the mgmt. at this company is superb! They not only helped her (she agreed to pay rent till they re rented the apartment which they did in about a weeks time), but they were helpful and kind to our family at a time when the last thing we needed was for someone to give us a hard time. They could have just told her too bad, finish the lease, pay it off, or at the very least find your own person to re rent the apartment to. But, instead they told her to go home where she was needed and they'd find someone for her. In short it is a rarity to find decent customer service anymore let alone a company that actually cares about the individual customer.

Lived on North 9th Street for a couple of years while attending Purdue- location was nice just off of Salem St. which took me directly over to campus and Union brought me right back. My apartment was very cozy and enjoyed my time there renting from Cole Property Mgmt.
