St. Lawrence Elementary School provides Catholic education to more than 200 students in pre-kindergarten through grade six. It is accredited by the North Central Association and state of Indiana. The school offers academic courses in language arts, phonics, math, social studies, science and penmanship. St. Lawrence Elementary School provides community health programs, volunteer tutoring in reading and math and therapy services. In addition, its extended day care services feature homework instructions and recreational activities. The school promotes students participation in scouting, volleyball, basketball, cross-country, cheerleading, and track and field. Located in Lafayette, Ind., St. Lawrence Elementary School is a part of Lafayette Catholic School System, which owns and operates other elementary, middle and high schools.
