When my wife had total hip replacement in 2015, the experience was wonderful. The doctors, nurses, and all employees were exemplary. We were both treated very well; she was kept comfortable, and the staff was caring and efficient. Our nephew, from Baton Rouge, is in there now after having very critical surgery, and he says he would much rather have medical care here than Baton Rouge; that the nurses and doctors were much better and more considerate. He said he will encourage all his friends and family to come here. Thank you, Lafayette General.

I will and would NEVER recommend this place. I never seen my nurses. Never received my pain medicine. No one said I could recieve medicine. Instead, I stayed in pain and was Miserable. I was in hospital delivering first baby. Had my second child at WOMENS AND CHILDRENS and that will be the only place I send my kids. DO NOT go to Lafayette General. They are not a patient advocate place and horrible bed side manners....... RUN FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!
