Pieces of Eight is a family owned and operated gift store opened in 1971. We offer a bridal registry with an extensive selection of china, crystal and flatware, as well as many fine stationery and gift lines. Customer service and great selection are our priorities. We are located in Lafayette, Louisiana, deep in the heart of Cajun Country. When the store was first opened, we offered antiques and gifts. We used the slogan "Treasures Old & New" to describe the offerings of the store. The idea of treasures, combined with the fact that we are a family of eight led to our naming the business "Pieces of Eight".
