Precious Hodges, ACNP-BC, practices nephrology at Ochsner Health. She has been involved in the entire continuum of care of renal patients including inpatient acute, chronic kidney disease, research, quality and outcomes management and end stage renal disease. She has practiced nephrology since 2011. Precious earned her Bachelor of Science degree in biology with a minor in psychology from the University of Mississippi in Oxford, Mississippi, in 2005. She then completed the accelerated Bachelor of Science in nursing program at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama, in 2008. She earned a Master of Science in nursing from the University of Alabama with a subspecialty in adult acute care in 2010. Precious started her career in Lafayette, Louisiana, and she has been practicing at Ochsner Lafayette General since 2003. Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading and traveling
