American Cafe serves american food, breakfast all day, and some special lunch choices that people come from 20 miles away for. Totally worth your trip when you have a chance or you are headed to or from the beach or casino via Hwy 99 through Lafayette, (near McMinnville.)



Today our experience:

Owner Holly and her parents Sue and Willy are very personable and a pleasure to talk with any time. They are down to earth and always nice. We just love love them as they always take time to talk with us if possible.



Cook: Today it was long term Dustin. He is a Chef level cook. His presentation of dishes are compareable to the finer type restaurants. His dishes are very nice with no grease, on even normally greasy dishes. No suprises as all with Dustin's plate's. They are top quality with all food always cooked to perfection. Even his salads are perfect every time. The food quality is actually amazing.



I had an American Cafe famous schnitzel breakfast cooked perfectly and my wife had a ribeye steak that was marinaded and wonderful. We also had the best service. It was a fun place to eat great food at good prices. We love the place.



Sue, makes the best desserts that are usually available. Don't pass on Sue's home made suprises. You will appreciate her efforts.



We have seen consistancy in excellent food as well as excellent service in a fun setting.



You owe it to your self to try this American Cafe. You will want to return. We do.
