The Lake Zurich Police Department is a full-service law enforcement agency that is nationally accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA). It maintains investigations, records and crime prevention divisions. The department also operates a communication center that responds to emergency and nonemergency calls, as well as provides communication services to various federal agencies. The Lake Zurich Police Department also provides neighborhood watch, community-oriented policing and animal control services.
