Dr. Burton graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 1984. She attended medical school in London, Ontario, Canada. She completed her residency training in Internal Medicine and then her combined adult and pediatric fellowship in Allergy and Clinical Immunology at the University of Manitoba, Canada. She joined Dr. Saker and Dr. Flory in 2002. Dr. Burton is a Diplomat of the American Boards of Internal Medicine and Allergy and Immunology. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and a fellow of the American College of Allergy & Clinical Immunology. Dr. Burton is the former President of the Michigan Allergy and Asthma Society.
