Capital imaging was started in 1995 to answer a problem. That problem was rooted in the fact that the majority of our clients were small, local businesses who couldn't afford professional marketing. And, as it goes with the David and Goliath story of small business versus corporate giants, large corporations have all the advantages of big budgets, while smaller companies (and their smaller budgets) are left to make do. The expansion of the internet and the advent of digital printing gave small businesses an opportunity to compete on a global scale for the first time. And that's what we decided to dedicate ourselves to.

 

When we set up shop we didn't have the traditional one or two color presses. We were completely digital. For short run, high quality print, we purchased the finest digital press available. For posters, signs, and banners we acquired the best wide format digital printer and digital die-cutter. To give it a polished sheen, we instituted a professional finishing department. And to pull it all together - we sought out highly motivated, career minded, professional digital imaging technicians who understand that what you do is your livelihood. We designed Capital Imaging as a local on-demand, digital printing and distribution company. An all-in-one store that could produce professional work at a desired quantity.
