They ripped me off......

Four months ago I spent $1300.00 on a new air conditioner! It broke so I went back today to see if it was under warranty. They told me it was if it was the compressor or condenser! I okayed a $44.00 charge so they could find out why my check engine light was on. Three hours later they came in the waiting area with a estimate. It was $565.00 but he said it would go up another $100! He also stated that it would take another day to repair it! Nothing on the estimate had anything to do with my air conditioner!! I said listen.....I spent $1300 on my air...what is wrong with it? He said....I will be right back!! He came back and told me first we had to take care of the other things first! WHAT.......I'm a female and blonde but this is crazy!!! I said let me pay the $44 and I'm leaving!! I get to the counter and surprise it's $133.00! I had to pay it to get my car back....I immediately went to another garage where they fixed everything including my air for $400.00 and it took 4 hours!!! Pep Boys on jones is incompetent......Don't take any of your cars there!!!!

They screwed up my cooling tubes when they flushed the transmission on my van and it took three trips back before they fixed it right . . . I had to tell the so-called mechanic how to do it . .

Unfortunately, I didn't learn my lesson and avoid them like poison so, I took my wife's Buick for repairs and got ripped off again . . . The Service Manager is incompetent and I had to deal with the corporate offices to get partial satisfaction and a partial refund . . . I have no time for small claims court . . .
