Called for estimate on a time belt kit & tune up. Told would be $500 w tax. Phone estimate only. Added outer door install w/my part. At picup told repair over $800—a $300 over. Preped 4 more but not that much. Bill poorly detailed. Gave labor & parts total amounts—figured out charged about $80 hr. When questioned bill detail told me tuneup more than I had “written down”. Basically called me liar when I showed notes. Tried to blame on me wanting more engine work than quoted. I never changed anything on my order or spoke with them after or at drop off of my car—they had it written on the calendar log. Noticed labor was double original quote & numbers added up w/original except labor which doubled. Means they charged near $300 install my handle. At the rate they quoted all numbers added up with the exception of the door handle install. Appears they doubled labor cost at final bill. Ask split overage w/me & refused. Dishonest practice & will never use again. Beware get written estimate.
