His involvement in competitive sports, including rugby and tennis, has led to his interest in treating acute and chronic sports-related injuries.Dr. Hawk supervises athletic programs in two area high schools and the Force Sports gymnastic program. He also cared for athletes on the Canadian National Freestyle Ski Team, and formerly served as the lead team orthopaedic surgeon for the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, a professional hockey team associated with the Philadelphia Flyers.
