Slum Lord

If there were a lower rating than one star, I would use it. The room in which I stayed was large but very old. The electrical wiring is outdated and now substandard making it a potential fire hazard. None of the doors fit square. The biggest problem is with the management and ownership. They are of the slum lord variety with the mindset that once they have your money, you will not get back any. I overbooked the room by four days and was promised a refund. What I was offered was two days worth which did show up on my credit card. But, the exact same amount was charged against my debit card with the excuse that because I had pets the room required extensive cleaning after I checked out. It is hard to understand that the room would need that much cleaning when it was being cleaned twice every week during my stay. This is the same lie that slum lords use to deny refunding a damage deposit on their rental properties. In my opinion these people are liars and thieves.
