Provided by YP.comBuds Gun Shop has been treating me like sh** . I ordered a rifle from buds before Christmas (12/13/2012), and I waited patiently for my rifle to ship because the web site said it wouldn't ship until after Xmas. On 12/29/2012 I contacted Buds using their order exception link and found out on 12/31/2012 that they were out of stock on the item that was in stock when they sold it to me. It cost me an additional $1200 over and above the price I paid Buds to get the rifle I wanted. I was and still am pissed. Buds did not even offer me an apology nor did they offer any discounts on future purchases. Just your basic screw you for ordering from us.

Provided by YP.comworst company EVER, they shipped my order to the wrong place, and now refuse to refund or reship. the tracking information they sent me even says it was delivered to the correct address, and now they tell me it was acually shipped to an address of mine from 5 years ago. AVOID AT ALL COSTS go to slickguns.com or summit gun broker and save your self the BS

Provided by YP.comNo way to put it nicely, this company sucks. For the ones that have had a good experience with Buds, I'm happy for you ... but a lot of people aren't so lucky. On the phone they say 3-7 days to ship, in the email they say 7-10 ... plus at the time the order is processed NOW they say it's a 10% penalty to cancel your order ... they conveniently slipped that in but are not forth coming with that info at the time of the order. Had I known that little tidbit at the time I ordered I would not have done it. Essentially, they are telling you that your money is hostage and if you want to set it free you'll pay for it which is a crock. There are countless horror stories on here with similar or worse complaints. How this company is BBB accredited is beyond me, but I would recommend that people that have issues with Buds should file a complaint with the BBB and that will change. It's easy, costs you nothing and would quickly change Buds BBB rating if in fact there are as many customers out there with these issues. This 10% penalty is a new one from Buds and wasn't there before and I'm suspecting it's due to the amount of canceled orders by pissed off customers so now they just stick it to you to try and force you to put up with it ... but I ain't taking it lying down.

Provided by YP.comAvoid at all costs. Worst customer service in the history of any business I've ever dealt with. Prices are extremely misleading and therefor not nearly as good of a deal as you may initially suspect. Extremely slow service as well.
I ordered a Ruger P95 on November 23rd, it is now December 5th and my gun has still not left Bud's warehouse. This gun was in-stock at time of purchase and is currently in-stock at the time of writing this review.
I attempted to contact Bud's on numerous occasions except none of their means of contact worked, their live chat was never online, calling in resulted in 1 hr+ estimated hold times, and when I resorted to complaining on their facebook page, my posts were simply deleted without any answers. This company actively edits negative reviews on their website/facebook page, giving people a false sense of security. They are never willing to accept that their business practices, employees, or polices are at fault. If you do simple research via google, there are literally thousands of horror stories posted on forums about this website. Please do yourself a favor and give your business elsewhere whether it be a local gun shop or another online retailer, buds doesn't care about their customers.

They do not work on commission so I do not have to worry about getting skimmed or hounded for money. Thanks Buds for all you do!

Provided by YP.comI've dealt with BudsGunShop.com and they are always competitive with their pricing. Their associates are always helpful and friendly when I have questions or need to purchase a firearm. Most of the guns I now own have come from BudsGunShop.com for that reason.

The background check process was easy. I was able to shoot the gun after I purchased it at the indoor range. My experience couldn't have been better.

Would happily recommend them to anyone seeking to purchase a fire arm for their first time or a seasoned gun enthusiast.

Provided by YP.comI love this place ! I have shot in the range several times and can't get enough of the steel range. The selection or rental firearms is unsurpassed. It is great having the ability to try it before you buy it. I like the fact that they have a website where I can view all available products and know what they have in the store before making the drive as well. If I know exactly what I want, I can buy on the website and they email me when it is ready so that I can pick up my purchase. Every time I have been in there the staff has been very helpful and courteous.

Provided by YP.comI ordered a shotgun a couple months ago that I was very happy with and wanted another one. The description on my order was 1 x Stevens 320SEC 12GA 18.5 CYL GRS. I did a search and found a number of guns with this description, but finally found one that had a picture that matched what I had ordered and received before. I placed the order for a second shotgun, but when it arrived it did not have the pistol grip. The FFL shipped it back to Bud's and the rep I spoke with said that yes the picture was wrong and they would ship me the correct gun.
Today I was contacted by a very rude supervisor that told me that the mistake was my fault and they would not ship me the correct gun, and instead are going to charge me $25 for shipping and a 10% restocking fee. I just want you to know that if this is how Buds handles the mistakes with their web page that not only will I no longer be dealing with Buds but I will also be making sure that all of my friends know of your response in this transaction. Very disappointing given the reputation that Bud's had worked to have in the shooters community.

Provided by YP.comI will NEVER order from these people again and I suggest that you don't either. Did a bank transfer to save the CC surcharge, but also top expidite the payment and shipping. But then experienced an extreme lag time for shipping (2 weeks later and still not shipped). AND the money was deducted from my bank account less than 2 days from the online purchase. Then trying to contact customer service and talk to an actual person is almost impossible. Don't use these guys unless you want to be disapointed. Gallery Of Guns looks good for my next purchase and I have had good experiences with gunbroker.com too.

Provided by YP.comI recently purchased a new Metro Arms 1911 from Bud's Gun Shop retail store. The gun would not load any type of ammo.
I took it to Bud's to be sent back to the factory for warranty repair. Instead I get a call a week later from Bud's "gunsmith" who says he can't replicate the problem. When I go to pick up the $500 paperweight, he proceeds to tell me that for every 1911, every single model, every single round, to feed ammo you have to pull back the slide and use the slide release.
So he is either a liar or an idiot. I suspect it was because he was trying to fool a female customer. Either way, not being able to trust the gun, I felt my best option was to trade it back to them. I lost $175 on the deal.
