If I had written this review a couple of months ago, it would have been 4 stars. When they first opened, the quality was very good and the prices were low. Then the quality suffered and the prices went up, and I stopped shopping there for quite a while. A couple of months ago, after hearing that they had new management, I stopped in and the selection was impressive, the quality was very good, and the prices were primarily reasonable. I shopped there reguarly, until one day they were emptying the shelves and selling everything at 50% off. They said they were remodeling, but actually the people who were managing left and the original father and daughter team took over. I had stopped in to their other store in Ft Lauderdale one day and there was barely anything on the shelves, the oranges and potatoes were soft, and the quality was terrible. Now that the father and daughter team are running things again, the quality has suffered and the shelves are more bare than a produce market should be. I commented to the daughter a couple of times that the quality had been much better and she explained that they were trying to make it work and were having financial difficulties. Then one day, I came in and the shelves were still bare. I mentioned it to the daughter and she told me to talk to her father, who was on the phone. I told him that he needed more product on the shelves, that for a produce market to work, there has to be a lot of turnover so everything is fresh. He listened impatiently and then proceeded to yell at me that he's been running this fkind of business for years and knows how to do a produce market. I'm from California and have been buying fruits and vegetables directly from growers at farmers markets and farm stands for years, so I'm not just some idiot off the street- I know this business from the customer side. Needless to say, I was appalled and angry that the owner barked at me like that, and after thinking about it, I decided that I will never shop there again, even though it's between my home and my gym and I pass by it every day. Unless they change their management and become more like they were for a while, it's a place to avoid.

What a great place. They have the freshest fruits and vegs in the area. Much better than Publix or Winn Dixie. Their prices are insanely low for excellant quality. If they don't have it, the manager will order it and try to get it for you. They have fresh deliveries every morning. They are open 7 days a week from 8am to 8pm . 8a-7p Sundays.
