I have been a faithful customer for 10+ years. Many of my family members and I enjoy the products and services until today. I entered the establishment to pick up a few items for my daughter and noticed a new female employee walk past me but I continued to search for the appropriate size. I look up and the young lady is sitting and watching me intensely. I am a professional at a local university for over a decade and an adjunct professor. I am in my forty+ and dressed professionally. I first ignored the young lady who was an employee and after another 5 minutes of her now bending and looking over rack directly at me shop. I asked if I could help her she said no and left immediately. I took my items to the counter to purchase. While there I mentioned how the new employee was watching me like I was a criminal and that I know all the others by name and that I have and will never steal. I went on to add that other patrons that were not African Anerican in the store and I felt singled out. I then added that I am aware that a portion of the job of the employees job is to watch to ensure theft isn't occurring but bit was the manner in which she did it. His response was she is suppose to watch you. That is her job. I was appalled by this statement and explained again that by speaking to management I would make you aware of my concern for training purposes for employees and not to be treated in a negative and disrespectful manner by management. He then said ok and continued what he was doing. He lacked customer service skills, professionalism, and tact. I explained to the cashier I would not be making my purchase today and exited the store.
