I have been bringing my clothes to Threads for repairs and alterations for over 10 years. Genoa, the proprietress, has also created patterns for me and designed original clothing. She is highly skilled, reliable, fairly priced, easy to work with, and honest. I recommend Threads without reservation based on my very positive experiences over the years.

In answer to kbarton: This year I have been slammed with alterations on wedding dresses which have delayed my prompt service to all. You requested the dress to be finished in a matter of days, and I knew, with my current work load, I could not get to it. I thought you were asking me to alter the bodice, not the hem, but at any rate, being backed up for three weeks with work already brought in, I knew I could not satisfy your needs. I'm very sorry if you felt like I was rude or insensitive. Thanks for the feedback.
