Clean, honest service shop. They do good work with emissions related issues. Quick turnaround time. Now I passed echeck and can get plates : )

Brought a 1992 F-150 in that was not running for them to take a look at it. I advised them that I was told by the previous owner that it was a possible fuel pump related issue. I assumed that they would diagnose the entire start up process to get a ball park on how much it would cost. They called me that same day and said that it would cost $300 to replace the fuel pump (they determined that it was bad). I agreed to the $300 and they began working on it. I got a call from them about an hour later stating that another part was bad (fuel pump relay) and it would cost an additional $70. Once again I agreed. The very next I received a phone call stating that the fuel pump was fixed but the vehicle had no spark. They quoted me $140 for a ignition module. I gave them a call in the evening of the next day and they said they were having a issue with signal not returning and were still diagnosing the problem (Friday). When I hadn't heard from them, I called to check on the it on Tuesday. They told me they they were unsure as to what the issue is and that it will cost me $72 HR to continue diagnosing it (no time table was given). I decided that I would have it taken to another shop. When I asked them what parts were replaced, they had no acknowledgement of the $70 fuel pump relay or even the phone call that I received with another charge. Needles to say it cost $500 and I had to have it towed to another shop.

I have been going to Lorain Auto Service since I was 16, I've taken every car that I have ever owned to them and have never had any problems, they are quick & they are fair. I recommend them to every one I know they even sent me help to get my car off the road once.

Lorain Auto Put a huge dent in the hood of my car and when I brought it to their attention they said that the dent was there. I brought my car in for repair and instead of repairing it they put a big dent right on the drivers side hood. The owner said it was there and he wasn't going to even look at it let alone repair it. This is the - THE WORST SERVICE OF ANY AUTO REPAIR - NOT ONLY DID THEY DENT MY CAR THEY GOT PERSONAL AND CALLED ME A LIAR, SAID I HAD MAN ISSUES, SAID I WAS UN-EDUCATED, A DIKE ETC... I have never been treated like this They took a genuine complaint and turned it personal called me names and said I was a liar. DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR THERE!!!!!!!!
