I suggested going on a horseback riding tour with my family, and found Tamarack Stables by searching google. Got lucky by calling same day, and they were able to get 5 of us in (probably wouldn't have happened on a weekend). We were all beginners as far as riding horses goes, and Tim, the owner and our tour guide, gave great instruction. He was also funny and even took some great photos of us! Favorite part was going through the creek- you might get a little wet, but Tim made sure all of our belongings were safe. The horses were all well behaved, great trail, great employees! Would highly recommend- whether you're just looking for something fun to do, or take lessons. We will be back next time we are in town! Thanks!
