I am a licensed clinical social worker specializing in working with couples around their relationship. I provide weekly couples therapy sessions, longer sessions as well, 2 day intensives/marriage retreats, weekend couples workshops as well authorized in training therapists learning the Gottman method of couples therapy. Im certified in the Gottman method and trained in the Developmental model and PACT approach. Research shows that couples and marriage counseling increases respect, affection, closeness, connection, and the ability to manage conflict. Research also shows that couples benefit more from couples therapy than individual therapy when it comes to their relationship. The latter can lead more to divorce than couples therapy.
