Founded in 1955 and located in Manchester, N.H., Moore Center Services is a nonprofit organization that provides support to individuals with developmental disabilities and acquired brain disorders. The center offers a wide range of services through its various departments, including child development center, early supports and services, family directed and residential services, family support, independent living, case management, and individual development. It additionally provides various options that enable seniors to remain independent, including personal care services, adult family and kinship care program. The personal care services program provides community-based care for seniors and people who have long-standing needs as a result of an illness or a lack of certain abilities. Its services include assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing and eating, help with use of adaptive equipment, and general housekeeping support. It operates a child development center, which is a licensed childcare program for children ages 6 weeks through 6 years providing child care-related services.
