Founded in 1952, Annie E. Vinton Elementary School offers a range of interactive classes and extracurricular programs. The school serves the educational needs of more than 250 students in prekindergarten through grade four. It has more than 50 teachers and other school personnel who offer administrative services. The school organizes various programs that include Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations, Halloween and Fire Safety Week events, and health care and family support programs. It provides classes in language arts, math, computer technology, science, social studies, thematic units and health education. The school also offers various extracurricular activities, including class job responsibilities, map skills, handwriting, graphing, poem writing and learning mathematical patterns. It is located in Mansfield Center, Conn.
