I can personally attest to the fact that if you are assigned Jerry Thompson as your attorney (and about the only way you will run across this conman is if you are an indigent defendant in criminal court and he is assigned to you) it’s very bad news; this means the Judge who stuck you with him does not want you to even have a skeletal defense. About the only thing he does is lie to you and tries to scare and/or coerce you into accepting a plea bargain that will not be in your best interest. I was stupid and uniformed enough to go to Badnell’s to hire an attorney who in turn set me up with this liar. It is worth mentioning that Badnell eventually fired him. Even in a town with very bad, substandard attorneys Jerry Thompson is the worst of the worst. If you know any attorney in the Mansfield area who will be candid with you ask them about Jerry Thompson's reputation.
Here are just a few of my experiences with Thompson;

He signed a mediation agreement without my consent or even my knowledge which bound me to it.
The prosecutor subpoenaed Jerry Thompson to be a witness against me in a case that had nothing to do with him, three years after I fired him ! He made a recording of himself talking about me and the case he was suppose to be working on https://m.youtube.com/watch?t=9s&v=zA92pHt0Pts
He convinced me not to testify on my own behalf in a civil mater by among other things refusing to share the evidence and claims being made against me.
He didn't bother to tell me I was going to be deposed; I discovered I was being deposed when I went to look over the court docket.
This is only a small sampling of my experiences to give you a taste of what to expect from him.

Ben kitzler is the type of lawyer that thinks outside the box. He is brutally honest, something I needed to hear. I am forever grateful to him and his firm.

If you're looking for an attorney that will do the bare minimum for your case Benjamin Kitzler is your man. The facts won't matter to him at all. It's all about how quickly he can achieve an outcome with doing as little work as possible whether it benefits you or not.
